✅ THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

❌ THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF:

  • You and your teen are stuck in a cycle of conflict, silence, or distance and you're not sure how to break it
  • Every conversation feels like it either turns into a fight or gets shut down before it even starts
  • You used to be close and somewhere along the way things got hard and you miss them
  • You want to repair the relationship but every time you try it comes out wrong
  • You're a mom, dad, stepmom, grandparent, or caregiver who loves a teen or tween and wants things to feel different
  • Your teen can't make it but YOU still want tools to show up differently at home
  • You're ending a hard semester and want a fresh start before summer
  • You just have a feeling this is exactly what your family needs right now
  • Your family is currently navigating a safety crisis or severe mental health concerns. This workshop isn't the right fit for that level of need, and we'd encourage you to connect with a licensed professional first
  • You're coming to prove your teen wrong rather than understand them
  • You've already decided nothing will work and aren't willing to try something different
  • You're looking for someone to fix your teen so you don't have to change anything on your end
  • You prefer to stay in survival mode rather than doing the internal work that creates real change.

Still reading? Good. Here's what's waiting for you on May 26th...

This is what the next 90 minutes looks like:

No awkward icebreakers. No homework. Just a real conversation with some structure to keep it safe.

PART 1: Why You're Stuck

Before we can fix anything we have to understand what's actually happening. In this first part we'll talk about why parent-teen relationships get stuck, and why 'just talk to each other' almost never works on its own. This isn't about blame. It's about patterns. And once you see the pattern, you can't unsee it, which means you can finally start doing something different.

PART 2: The Talking Stick Conversation

This is the heart of the workshop. And honestly? It's unlike anything most families have ever experienced together. Here's how it works: When you hold the talking stick, you speak. Everyone else listens. No interrupting. No defending. No fixing. Just hearing. Then the stick passes. Using guided prompts, you and your teen will take turns sharing what you're actually feeling (the stuff that usually gets lost in the fight or buried in the silence.) The structure keeps it safe. The prompts keep it moving. And having a neutral facilitator means nobody has to be the bad guy. Most families tell me they hear something in this conversation they've never heard before. That's the whole point.

PART 3: What Comes Next

We don't just send you home and hope for the best. In the final part of the workshop we'll debrief together: what came up, what surprised you, what felt hard. You'll leave with one small practice you can start using at home immediately to keep the conversation going. Plus a workbook with prompts you can return to again and again. And if you're ready for more support after the workshop? I'll share what that looks like too

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH:

✅ A reset in your relationship (you've actually heard each other, maybe for the first time in a while)
✅ One actionable practice to keep communication open at home
✅ A simple repair framework for when things get hard again
✅ A workbook with prompts your family can use again and again
✅ Hope that the relationship isn't broken, it just needs attention

And all of this happens in one evening.
For free. On your couch.

Hi, I'm Abi.
And before I tell you anything else, I just want you to know that you don't have to explain yourself to me.

I already get it.

I know what it feels like to love someone fiercely and still not know how to reach them. I know the guilt that follows a hard moment. I know the quiet fear that sits in your chest when the distance between you and your teen feels like it's growing and you don't know how to close it.

I grew up navigating my own complicated family dynamics during my teen years. And the thing that changed everything for me wasn't advice. It wasn't a book. It was someone who sat with both sides of the relationship and helped us actually hear each other.

That experience never left me.

I went on to get my Master's in Clinical Counseling and spent years working with over 100 teens and their families. And the thing I kept seeing over and over was the same thing I lived:

When both sides finally feel heard, everything shifts.

THAT'S why I created The Talking Stick.

Not because I have it all figured out. Not because I'm a perfect parent. But because I believe in this work with my whole heart and because I know what's possible when families stop trying to win the argument and start trying to understand each other.

I'm so glad you're here.

And I cannot wait to be in the room with you and your teen on May 26th.

Got questions? Good! Here are the ones I get asked most:

Still have a question I didn’t answer? Email me at [email protected] and I’ll get back to you personally.

Your teen is waiting for this conversation too.

They might not know it yet. They might roll their eyes when you bring it up.
But somewhere underneath all of that?
They want to be heard by you just as much as you want to hear them.

That’s what May 26th is for.

90 minutes. One conversation. A whole lot of things that needed to be said finally getting said.

This is your chance to show up differently. And it starts with clicking the button below.
